I purchased these scissors because Fiskars has a good reputation for producing a quality product. However, I was sorely dissappointed when the scissors broke into two non-fixable pieces while using the scissors to cut a thin piece of plastic.

I've been using these for general office use for over five years. They've stayed perfectly sharp, the handles are very comfortable (for right-handed use), and I've even cut stuff like small copper wire without any ill effects.
